Paul F. White, Ph.D., Managing Director of ERS Group, will participate on a panel addressing class action strategies in a post-Dukes environment at the American Conference Institute's (ACI) 3rd Annual Employment Discrimination Litigation Conference to be held July 30-31, 2012, at the New York Marriott Downtown.
In addition to Dr. White, the panel consists of top employment counsel from across the country: Elise M. Bloom (Proskauer Rose, LLP), Lynne C. Hermle (Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP), Steven W. Suflas (Ballard Spahr, LLP), and Jay W. Waks (Kaye Scholer, LLP). Topics the panel will address include the types of EEO lawsuits that can proceed on a class basis, applicability of Dukes to discrimination and retaliation cases, strategies for narrowing a class, and the use of expert testimony and data at class certification.
