Matthew Kennedy is a Managing Director and has been with ERS Group since 1995. Mr. Kennedy’s practice focuses on Federal sector clients in matters requiring the management of complex statistical and economic consulting for single plaintiff and class action employment litigation, as well as internal studies. He has managed projects involving compensation litigation, proactive analyses of employment decisions, and class action environmental/toxic tort arbitrations. Mr. Kennedy has participated in matters brought before Administrative Law Judges, including class action hearings before the EEOC, and in Federal District Courts. Mr. Kennedy has broad experience in the planning and management of litigation and consulting projects, from the initial case assessment to the framing and implementation of case support strategies, including the identification and coordination of experts, the development of data and document management and control strategies, the identification and implementation of litigation support technologies, and contract management.

Coordinated litigation support, including exhibit design, production, and hearing support for an employment case involving federal employees brought by EEOC
Supervised efforts to develop a methodology for estimating individual damages for non-payment of differential pay for a Federal class action compensation matter before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims
Managed a comprehensive support effort for a federal agency involving class action labor arbitration claims of asbestos exposure, including establishment of an on-site litigation support office, engagement and management of non-economics experts, and development and analyses of environmental exposure databases
