Employment
Data Holdings

Some of the key data holdings that we use or have developed under contract:

arrow Census/EEO Data: These data include the Census Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Special File, the EEO Supplemental Detailed Tabulations, selected Public Use Microdata Samples (PUMS), periodic Current Population Survey information and population data.

arrow EEO Special File: This file provides information about occupational, geographic and demographic group availability rates. It is especially valuable to employment lawyers, human resource executives, and affirmative action officers.

arrow EEO Supplemental Detailed Tabulations: ERS Group is one of seven firms in the U.S. that sponsored the development of the EEO Supplemental Detailed Tabulations, which contain more detailed labor force data than the EEO Special File and provide earnings, age, and industry breakdowns by gender, race, and Hispanic origin. These data are used to estimate information such as journey-to-work data and where potential employees are likely to live.

arrow ERS Group Databases: ERS Group also develops its own databases. The Annual Unemployment Education and Population Databank supports detailed geographic projections, a Current Population Survey Data Bank provides annual population estimates, and a Mortgage and Interest Rate Data Bank provides data which enhances models of lending decisions.
