Ms. Shore is a Principal in ERS Group’s San Francisco, CA office. She provides analytical consulting services to corporate policyholders involved in liability, property, and other kinds of insurance disputes, claims, and litigation. She has prepared and assisted in the resolution of a number of large, complex “long tail” liability insurance claims, as well as claims associated with “claims made” liability insurance policies. Her work has included claims involving significant environmental and toxic tort liabilities associated with utility, railroad, petrochemical, manufacturing, mining, and other industrial operations, as well as liability claims stemming from explosions, derailments, and other insured events. She has prepared and assisted in the resolution of property insurance claims, including claims for property damage, loss of business income, and extra expense associated with insured events, such as catastrophic weather and product recalls. In many of these matters, Ms. Shore’s work has also included developing and implementing client processes to facilitate effective client management of insurance claims, including processes for insurer communications, underlying claims tracking and payment, insurance claim preparation and documentation, litigation support, and other processes. Outside of her insurance coverage practice, Ms. Shore has also provided analytical consulting services to industrial clients in environmental matters, including calculating damages associated with environmental response, allocating damages to multiple responsible parties, analyzing agency oversight and response costs, and assisting clients with response to State and Federal government information requests . Ms. Shore has also assisted clients in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Proceedings with claim analysis and resolution services.
Ms. Shore joined ERS Group in 2011; she has 21 years of experience in insurance coverage and environmental consulting. Prior to ERS Group, Ms. Shore held various positions at LECG, Navigant, and Peterson Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University. |
