| Dr. Mitchem joined ERS Group as a Research Economist in August 2007 after earning his Ph.D. in economics from Texas A&M University. His areas of specialization include labor economics and applied microeconomics. Dr. Mitchem works with experts, other economists and clients to design and conduct statistical analyses of economic decisions including hiring, promotion and termination of employees in various occupations and industries. He also designs and constructs compensation studies to evaluate allegations of discrimination. At Texas A&M, he was a Research Assistant for the Bush School of Government and Public Service and taught labor economics, microeconomics and econometrics. Dr. Mitchem’s prior work experience also includes Analyst positions with LECG and Capital Economics. |
